THE COMMUNITY FRIDGE OPENED OFFICIALLY ON 11TH SEPTEMBER 2021
The Community Fridge was officially opened on 11th September 2021 by Sarah Green, MP. We had a lovely drinks reception on Chalfont St Giles Village Green accompanied by music from the Amersham Brass Band. Since opening we have saved about 1 ton of food from being sent to landfill each month, and we are very happy to report that we are getting busier and busier every time we open.
TEA PARTIES
All Together Community is also running tea parties for older people in Chalfont St Giles, and they are proving to be very popular. We usually have around 20 people attend and enjoy some homemade cakes and a nice cup of tea! We try to run these groups every 2 weeks on a Monday afternoon, and we take it turns between the Scout Hall and the Youth Club.
